Flange mounted totally enclosed three-phase squirrel-cage 415V induction motors selected on the basis of Isolator torque and operating time requirement.
D.C. motors and other operating voltages are also available, to meet customer requirement. |

| REDUCTION GEARING |
The SAYOG Electric Drive uses specially designed Spur gear and Worm gear combination in a compact, self-locking and efficient system. Well Lubricated (Grease or Oil) enclosed gear system is designed to withstand full torque of stalled Motor at 110% rated voltage, resulting in a fail-safe, long lasting and trouble free drive. |

| CONTROL PACK UNIT |
The CONTROL-PACK unit is a robust, weatherproof (IP55 to IS : 4691-1968) cabinet through which the output shaft passes. It incorporates all electrical and mechanical control and protection equipment.
Limit switches with snap-action contacts are
fitted as a standard feature, Each switch is actuated by a
shaft-mounted cam, easily settable at site to give any operating
angle up to 200. This makes precise setting possible, free
from any play of levers or gears. |

| DRIVE COUPLING |
| The drive can be connected to the Isolator shaft / pipe through a Flange coupling. Optionally other types of couplings / lever mechanism can be offered. |

| STANDARD CONTROL EQUIPMENT |
2 nos. electrically interlocked contactors – AC or DC operation.
1 no. Bimetal Overload relay with Single Phasing protection.
1 no. Local / Remote selector switch.
1 no. each Close and Open push buttons.
3 nos. AC main and 2 nos. Control circuit HRC fuses. |

| Each Drive is tested for stalled Torque withstand at 110% of rated voltage of motor, as a part of Routine Testing. |

| SAYOG's Experience Profile |
Sayog has been manufacturing and supplying the Electric Drives for EHV Isolators for past 20 years.
SAYOG has a vast experience of design, manufacture and supply
of more than 700nos. of Electric Drives for the EHV Isolators
– Gang operated as well as Individual Pole operated types.
Most of SAYOG's Drives have become parts of the manufacturer's
(OEMs) of the EHV Isolators.
Many of the SAYOG's Isolator Drives have been exported by the Isolator Manufacturers and have been providing satisfactory services. |
